Finally! After an endless parade of gutless business executives behaving like serfs before royalty, a savvy black business leader teaches all of them how to talk to an arrogant, self-absorbed PUBLIC SERVANT like Barbara Boxer.
If you have not seen the video of the exchange between Ms. Boxer and Harry C. Alford, who is CEO of the BCC, I urge you to do so as soon as you can. And take the time to watch the subsequent interview of Mr. Alford. (Both videos are available at www.breitbart.tv)
Ms. Boxer was attempting to convince Mr. Alford that the latest "climate change" legislation would create "green jobs" in California, and therefore should be supported by his group. She made the arrogantly racist assumption that, since he was a black man, the mere fact that "the NAACP supported this legislation" should persuade him to fall in line.
Big mistake.
God bless Mr. Alford, he came right back at her, giving her the verbal equivalent of a vicious counter-punch to the chops. And he didn't let up - he continued to pummel her, fending off her weak attempts at recovering with elegantly delivered body blows, jabs, and finally, a devastating uppercut (when he called her entire approach racist) - I swear I heard the voice of Howard Cosell shouting "and (s)he's DOWN!"
Coming just weeks after Ms. Boxer's shameless treatment of a Brigadier General for daring to call her "ma'am" (a term of respect that ALL military people are taught to use with superiors, even civilians), this most recent incident clearly exposes the inherent contempt that today's liberal elites have for the African American community. One hopes that every black man and woman in America gets a chance to see it - and think long and hard about what it says.
It was, well, a thing of beauty.
